Help with Itunes, Computer Illiterate?

Ok so I am using my dads computer which has his songs on it, I want to add songs to my ipod, but I want my songs to just be added to my ipod and not his songs that are already added to I Tunes. But I don't want to wreck his songs or delete them or have them added to his.. Is there anyway I can make a separate thing that is just my songs?Or something
