Sharp pains on the right side of my head, Help plz ?

Hi , am 15 yrs old and ive been having these really sharp pain on my right side of my head i feel like its in my brain and nearly everyday i have this pain for like a short while it comes and goes but sometimes the pain is just to much that i cont open my eyes sometimes when am asleep the pain wakes me up ive been having these pains this month and am worried what might be goin on am going to the doctor, does anyone knw what might be happening ? is this serious ?
