Why are people so hateful?

I hate seeing all of the ignorant, and racist comments in the ramadan section.. I think anyone who spreads hate has a bad heart, and I am saddened by all the hate I see on these message boards... When I go to the jewish section I do not see anyone making hateful comments towards Jews, but when I look at the ramadan section I see hate everywhere, anti-Islam, fear mongering jerks. Someone said Palestinians deserve to die... My God please wake them up! I hate what Israel is doing and I think they are wrong, but I am not so ignorant that it would make me hate jewish religion or jewish people in general!! I merely hate what they are doing... Yet people on here, they hate Islam, and they hate Muslims.... It just makes me so sad..... Why are people so ignorant and hateful? Will we ever progress from racism and xenophobia?
