Am I being unreasonable (Highschool boys and girls please) (10 pts for good anser)?

I'm intimidated by upperclmen. I'm going to be a freshman next year and I'm intimidated by sophmores, juniors, and seniors. They just freak me out! They scare me because they are older. My parents make me go to the boys and girls club for the summer, there are upperclmen there and they always try to socialize with me but I always just move away. We have a new member that will be a sophmore, that talks to me, and sometimes flirt but I don't like her because she's a sophmore. Plus she was born in 1991! I don't like the year 1991. 1991 just sounds weird because I'm used to people born in 1992 and up, and 1990 and under. So the fact that she was born in 1991 freaks me out. Is that a good reason not to like someone? Am I being unfair? I mean they kind of started it with the freshman hazing.
