For moms who are in school while raising kids...how do you do it?

i want to go back to school to become a nurse, but i have a 8 month old, so when the time comes he would have to go into daycare...now this is the thing, you put them in daycare and your a neglectful and selfish mother,...right now iam stay home mom, no job...so if i stay home iam a lazy non contributing mother...cant win. I dont work as my job is mom right now, but my husband has been bitching abut his work and bills and money, he knew i wanted to go to school when the kid turned one...but lately he seems very jealous and insecure about it. whats a person to do?
