Installing windows on a old computer?

im trying to install windows xp sp1 on my friends compaq desk pro. and olc computer but she wants it for her kids. anyway as i install it it keep saying it cant copy the mrxdav.sys......when i skip it ....it wont copy other files either like the mrp.dll what can i do.. only if you really know about computer answer please
