My 5wk old son is sick what can I do for him?

Hes got a sore throat and he's a little congested. I know you might wonder how I know he has a sore throat when he cant talk. Well his cry sound raspy and different than normal.Anyway my pediatrician said to just use a humidifier and saline drops, but he dosent seem to be getting better. He dosent have a fever. I just dint like seeing him sick.
